About
Software that does not charge you for growing
ServiceFlow IQ is built for residential trade contractors running roughly five to fifty trucks — the size where the simple tools stop answering your questions and the enterprise ones start charging by the head.
The gap we kept seeing
There are two kinds of field service software. One is easy to start with and quietly stops keeping up somewhere around the fifteenth employee — the reporting gets thin, flat-rate book time is not a concept it has, and every new person on the payroll is another line on the invoice. The other has genuine depth and prices it like enterprise software, with a per-technician seat cost and an implementation project attached.
Neither is wrong. But there is a large middle where a contractor needs the second one's capability at the first one's overhead, and that is the whole reason this product exists.
Three decisions that follow from it
Unlimited users, at every tier. This is the one everything else has to bend around. There is no seat metering anywhere in the codebase, and there is not going to be — the moment software charges per head, it starts making hiring decisions for you.
Setup is the product's job, not a services engagement. A new workspace seeds its own service categories, statuses and a pricebook with sold-hour estimates from your trade and truck count. That is a feature, not a professional-services line item.
AI where it removes typing, not where it looks impressive. Reading an HVAC data plate off a photo. Scoring which technician fits a job. Drafting the follow-up on an unsold estimate. The co-pilot is scoped to the page you are on and reads real counts from your workspace, and it is explicitly instructed never to invent a customer or claim it sent something it did not.
Where we are
Early, and we would rather say so. There is a lot shipped — thirteen modules, a public API, eleven trades with tailored setup — and some things that are on the roadmap rather than in the product. The security page lists both, and so does the help centre. If something matters to you and it is not built, we will tell you on the call instead of after the migration.
